SYSTEM INSTALLATION
Positioning and securing The RAMP on the operating table
This video presents the steps required to correctly position and secure The RAMP system on an operating table.
It shows how to install the device, keep it stable and check its positioning before use in the operating room.
The demonstration also highlights the main checks required to ensure that the system is installed appropriately and securely.
Overview
Stability, comfort and efficiency for every procedure
The RAMP is an all-in-one solution designed for knee positioning. The device helps teams stabilise the lower limb in different positions, with rapid transitions between flexion, extension and hyperflexion.

One device. Six positions.
The RAMP optimises knee procedures while reducing the requirements associated with preparation, handling and sterilisation.
Surgical
- Six stable positions
- Rapid position changes
- Full knee extension
Operational
- One-step installation
- No complex disassembly
- Rapid rotation and positioning
Financial
- No dedicated sterile consumables
- Reduced sterilisation requirements
- Less waste generated
Why choose The RAMP?
Full knee extension
The raised position of the distal footrest facilitates full knee extension.
Pressure point protection
The soft, rounded distal side provides comfort around the Achilles tendon.
Hyperflexion position
The patient’s foot can rest in a dedicated area to stabilise the hyperflexed position.
Flexible attachment
The mounting slots and Velcro straps allow adaptable attachment.
Flat support surface
The firm, flat surface ensures stable positioning of the sole of the foot.

Clinical applications

Improved surgical ergonomics
Elevating the knee in full extension limits variations in the height of the surgical field.

Full extension with improved access
The raised-foot design facilitates full extension, particularly for patients with larger thighs.

Hands-free stability
Use with a lateral support and positioning block helps stabilise the leg in the different positions.

Simple installation
The device attaches rapidly to a standard operating table using two Velcro straps.

Optimised draping
Draping between the footrests facilitates heel positioning in every position.
Quick and easy installation
1

Initial positioning
Insert the straps through the slots, then place The RAMP beneath the operative leg.
2

Adjust the position
Adjust the position slightly according to the surgeon’s preference.
3

Securing the straps
Pass the straps beneath the table, then fasten the Velcro securely.
4

Lateral support
Position the lateral support to maintain knee alignment.
5

Draping
Pull the draping layers down between the footrests.
